Romanian Language

Romanian (also spelled Rumanian , Romanian Româna) is a Romance language.  It is spoken primarily in Romania and Moldova. 

There are four main dialects in Romanian: Daco-Romanian, which forms the basis of standard Romanian; Aromanian, or Macedo-Romanian, spoken in various communities in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, and Yugoslavia; Megleno-Romanian, a dialect of northern Greece which is nearing extinction; and Istro-Romanian, spoken on the Istrian Peninsula

Moldovan, spoken in Moldova, is considered by linguists to be a form of Daco-Romanian.
