Bafut Language
Bafut (also called Befe, Bufe, Fu, Fut) is an Ngemba language from the Benue-Congo branch of the Niger-Congo language family. Bafut is spoken in the Northwest Province in Cameroon. There was a count of 50,000 Bafut speakers in the late 20th century.
There are about 40 Bafut literacy programs in Cameroon schools and churches.
