How to use the ALS Currency Converter:

Step 1: Type in the value of the source currency in decimals
Step 2: Choose the source currency
Step 3: Choose the target currency
Step 4: Choose the date of the transaction [Month, Day, Year]
Step 5: Click on the submit button

Example:
To convert $22.25 US Dollars into German Marks on March 7, 1999:

1. Enter the number 22.25 in the box labeled "Amount to be converted"
2. Designate US (DOLLARS) as the source currency
3. Designate Germany (MARKS) as the target currency
4. Set the date of the transaction to: Month:March Day:07 Year:1999
5. Click on the Go button
6. The result will be 40.1234
